On Christmas Eve in 2016, Will asked Camille to join him in their living room so he could give her an early Christmas present. “A Ray Charles record was playing and there was a fire in the fireplace” she recalls. Will was under the tree on his hands and knees, searching for the gift in question. “All of a sudden, he exclaimed that he’d found it, and I turned around to find him holding a tiny antique ring box, down one knee” Camille says.
The bride’s family is from England, and the pair briefly considered hosting their destination wedding in the UK. Then, they had another thought: “We realized, though, that we’d be asking people to travel to Europe anyway, so we might as well get married in one of our favorite places, Tuscany!” Camille explains. They chose Borgo Stomennano in Monteriggioni, where they exchanged vows in the gardens before dining at a single long table lit with candelabras.
